The Fish That Got Away

I saw this Great Blue Heron score a big fish at Fort De Soto where we spent some time camping this holiday week. Soon after the catch however, the fish got away. The heron tried diligently to recapture it, but was unsuccessful.

    Oh, the Heron thought it had it for sure, but, it got away. Brilliant photography.

    Another lovely set of pics, that fish looked on the big side for the Heron, though it's surprising what they can manage!! Happy new Year to you, I look forward to more great pics in 2012!!
