While giving my dog his much needed bath in the backyard this week, we were kept company by this noisy youngster who was perched on a low branch of a close by oak.

And while I was taking these photos, my nice clean dog found something really stinking to roll in.....
Beautiful captures, Tammy.
ReplyDeleteI had a good chuckle over your nice clean dog rolling in something while you were photographing this young and handsome Red-shouldered hawk.

ReplyDeleteA dog taking a bath must be a curious thing for the passing-by bird. I guess it is for a lot of people for that matter.
ReplyDeleteGreat Hawk pictures he posed for you. I have a beagle that loves to roll in stinky stuff too. lol
ReplyDeleteHahaha, story of my life!!

ReplyDeleteFabulous pictures Tammy, he has such a look of curiosity in his eyes in the first shot (maybe watching your dog?) His colouring is magnificent!
ReplyDeleteI'm jalous of your pretty neighbours Tammy :-) Fabulous pictures, and he/she seems to feel well in front of your camera!!
ReplyDeleteYep, that's life, Tammy. You gain some, you lose some. But I have to say that you made beautiful pics, although you had to clean the dog again. And you were very lucky to have that bird in your garden. I cannot even think to get such a bird before my lens. Greetings from the Netherlands, Joke
ReplyDeleteLucky you... to have your camera handy when (I presume) an unexpected visitor finds its way to you.
ReplyDeleteAs for the dog, he's just being a himself. :P
