Snow White Birds

An Egret feeding frenzy.

On your mark, get set, go!

Water ballet!

A meal on the fly.

Gotcha little fish.

Incoming!

This White Pelican did not receive a warm welcome from the Egrets.

I was happy to see him!

  18. What entertaining birds, so silly all bunched together with their long fragile wings, it's a surprise someone doesn't poke an eye out or snap a wing (says the mom!) Gorgeous shots Tammy. All those white feathers are reminding me of snow :)

  24. Great set of pictures - nice yellow socks!

I saw a group of egrets fishing like this early this year - and they were joined by about 15 cormorants all team fishing as well. Remarkable really.
